Growing up in Toronto, Canada, Alexander did not catch the acting bug (though he caught many lady bugs) until high school when he was "coerced" into starring in a play for the school's annual Spring Festival! Upon getting that first thunder of applause and laughter while on stage, he was hooked. After graduating with a Double-Major B.A. in Mass Communication and Sociology, he realized that he would much rather be an actor than to have to work nine-to-five for "the man". And so, our Canadian and now American hero (who has "some British blood" in him), embarked on a studious journey with, among others, Antony C. Hyde, a wonderful British coach in Toronto, Second City, and the Equity Showcase Theatre. Several plays and independent films later, he moved to Los Angeles to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After finishing the Summer Program at the AADA, Alexander began attending the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Realizing just how important consistent training is for an actor, Alexander continues to study there today. Alexander's hobbies include Martial Arts, Astrology, writing, Salsa dancing, surfing the Internet, eating milk chocolate, sleeping, socializing and contemplating the Zen of Bidets. His short film, "The Solo Troubadour" is premiering soon. Soon after that, world domination.
As an actor, my mission is to portray the humanity of my villains and the flaws of my heroes.
