These core teachings are applied to the realms of personal finance, education, health & fitness, leadership & life philosophy, community outreach, and sustainable, entrepreneurial enterprise to unlock the “hero” buried within • In May of 2011, Athletic Capital successfully organized an event entitled “Live the Legacy” that brought together 300 leaders to celebrate the 30 year career of Mark Bendorf, a coach and teacher in Northern Virginia. Ed Cunningham (ESPN College Game Day Live) served as the event host while Bud Foster, Virginia Tech Defensive Coordinator, entertained the audience as the keynote speaker. • In January of 2012, Athletic Capital will lead its first international initiative, Mission Kilimanjaro (www.MissionKilimanjaro.com), in Tanzania.
