Katie is a former member of the BAT's - resident acting company of the Flea Theatre - working alongside many gifted directors and playwrights; Jim Simpson, Mac Wellman, A. R. Gurney, Len Jenkin. WICKETS was performed as a work-in-progress at The HERE Arts Center, as a part of their annual Culturemart series, the showing received stellar reviews and returned to 3 Legged Dog in January/February 2008 for a full run. That critically acclaimed performance earned the cast a 2010 GLAAD Media Award Nomination for Best NY Theatre, as well as a Henry Hewes Award (American Theatre Wing) for Best Scenic Design. Film & TV credits: How I Got Lost, Hope & Faith, Sell Out & Notes For a Movie (Blatantly Subtle), Avatar, Mission Idiot and has hosted for CDTV.net. Commercially she has has worked for 1800Recycling, Visa, Avon, Canon, The Discovery Channel, and has been featured in Travel and Leisure's "The Knot."
